Holiday Hope at Home will provide much-needed clothing, personal items, household items and wished-for toys to local children and families who would otherwise go without holiday gifts and necessities.

Kids' Pages Cares gives families a loving "hand-up" not a "hand out." The families that receive assistance from Kids' Pages Cares have encountered difficult circumstances, the loss of a job, an illness or injury, a disabled child, a disaster such as a fire, parental abandonment (grandparents and other family members taking custody of children). By receiving referrals directly from school administrators, we insure that the assistance is going to children and families that really need it and will make good use of the help.

Last year, Kids' Pages Cares provided $308,000 worth of necessities and gifts to 3000 local needy children and their families. Help us reach that goal again this year!

Gift Cards for Families

It is a treat for these families to be able to shop for brand-new underwear, socks, clothing and household items at Target and Wal-Mart. It is also a very special treat for them to be able to eat out at a restaurant or go to a movie, most of them never have that opportunity.

Kids' Pages Cares will be collecting and distributing gift cards for families to be able to shop "on sale" after the holidays and enjoy a night out. If you would like to send a gift card for a family, please mail it to:

Shop for a specific child

Visit Kids' Pages Cares in the food court of FlatIron Crossing in Broomfield (beginning the day after Thanksgiving) and choose an ornament with a child's name and holiday wishes from the tree and shop for your child. Bring the gift back to the Kids' Pages table at FlatIron Crossing by December 20th and we will deliver the gift to your child. If you would like us to shop for a child for you, make a cash or PayPal donation and we will do so (please write "adopt a child" in the memo section of your check).

Contribute to Family Boxes

Kids' Pages Cares will be providing hundreds of struggling families with "Family Boxes" filled with basic needs, toiletries, household items, laundry soap, shampoo, towels, sheets, tooth brushes etc. the boxes will be distributed to families in time for the holidays. We will be collecting items at Sam's Club in Arvada, Thornton and Louisville beginning the day after Thanksgiving. You are also welcome to send a cash donation, donate via PayPal or send a gift card donation toward the purchase of items for family boxes.
