Dr. Patricia Ashley, Ph.D., is the mother of four children, ages 20-28. Patti has 28 years of experience working as a special education teacher, parent educator and child and family therapist. She also has worked as a liaison between schools and other professionals, and has provided therapeutic interventions for children and families in both school and clinical settings. Dr. Ashley has a private psychotherapy practice in Boulder, CO. She also is the Program Coordinator for the Boulder Valley School District's Community Access Mentoring Program.
Lisa Bodek is a Colorado native and attended Douglas County Schools. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish at the University of Colorado at Denver and a Master's in Social Work at the University of Denver. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who currently works for Jeffco Public Schools as an Area Coordinator for Exceptional Student Services. She has been an ESL tutor in Douglas County, a child protection caseworker for Arapahoe County, a bilingual child and family therapist in the Denver metro area, and a case manager for the Jeffco Schools Medicaid and Homeless Services Program. She has served on other boards and committees including Cornerstone, Jefferson Family Support Network, All Families Deserve a Chance (AFDC), Colorado School Social Worker Committee (CSSWC), and the Carin' Clinic in Arvada. Lisa lives in Centennial with her husband and three sons.
Dr. Charles Fay, Ph.D., comes to us from the Love and Logic Institute. Dr. Fay is a parent as well as an authority in child, school and family psychology, parent training techniques and classroom management strategies. Dr. Fay has taught hundreds of parents and teachers across the country how to successfully implement the Love and Logic philosophy in their own homes and classrooms. He has also provided extensive psychotherapy and consultation services to children in schools as well as inpatient psychiatric settings.
Joel Hassell, President and CEO of DigiForge. Joel has held positions in several large corporations, including management positions at both United Technologies and General Electric and executive positions at McGraw-Hill and TV Guide. Joel has been involved in managing several organizations including operations, product development, marketing, consumer research, quality assurance, customer support, technical communications and customer training. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Western State University and a law degree from the University of Denver. He is daddy to four children.
Dr. Julia Robinson, O.D., is a board certified optometrist practicing in Superior. A member of the American and Colorado Optometric Associations, she is involved in InfantSee, providing free eye screenings to all children under 1 year of age. She lives in Westminster with her husband, 2 school aged boys and a yellow lab. She is actively involved in the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network and is a volunteer at her boys' school.
Dr. Jeffrey Stang, D.D.S., has been a partner at Standley Shores Dental Group in Westminster since 1988. He is a member of many associations, including the Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped. He is the father of two.
Hal Stein, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician in Golden. He has been practicing pediatrics since 1988, and has been at his present location, Denver West Pediatrics, since 2002. His two adolescent sons keep him occupied at home.
